Basket & Green

I walked in to the very well patronised Basket & Green Cafe this morning on my way to a job interview. The smell of fresh coffee and the delicious looking cakes in the cabinet were enticing, however that is not why I was there. I found myself unexpectedly having to pay at the parking meter with nothing but a $50 note in my purse. So I went into the Basket & Green Cafe nearby to buy something, anything would have been a good choice, so that I had change. But George the lovely owner would have none of that, and insisted on gifting me $2 for the meter out of the goodness of his heart. What an Angel! As it looks like I will be working just up the road soon, I look forward to showing George my gratitude by patronising the Cafe regularly and sampling those wonderful cakes! Sue.
