engaged the services of bass valley carpet laying to do a newly renovated lounge room. Firstly I asked how much the job would be they said they needed to measure it up first which they didn't do, they just started doing the job but didn’t appear incompetent. They did the job and then were in a very big hurry to go. My wife paid them and they left while I was on the phone. I then checked the job. There damage to walls and skirting of our freshly plastered and painted room,Then there is a join that they have done that you can stick your fingers in the gap in two places. I called mark (the boss) and he refused to come back and rectify also verbally abusing laughing at me. I find this behaviour reprehensible. Also we paid cash and he was supposed to give a receipt which he didn't do. I don't have any idea how anyone in business can behave in this appalling manor.
