If you need to stock up on necessities best to do it here as this is literally the only store close to anything nearby. The Batchelor General Store is also a petrol station and post office. The ster has a surprisingly good array of products and is a local icon, as is the Batchelor Air Strip. Even though it's less than 100km from Darwin, one look at the store will make you feel like you are miles from nowhere!
