Batman's Hill On Collins
The historic State Bank of Victoria building has been converted into a truly amazing 4 star hotel with high vaulted ceilings overlooked by the mezzanine reception level. From the wood panelled lobby to the Premiere room and apartments we offer the convenient accommodation to the discerning traveller.
The hotel offered parking spaces for our two vehicles, however one of the vehicle had to enter the parking lot VIA the exit as the main entries roof was lower. Once in the parking bay, it was very tight and if you parked in certain bays, you had to leave the keys with reception as the vehicle would have been blocking others from entering or exiting.
Nevertheless, the establishment was good, check in process was easy and finding our room was no troubles. The apartment was clean and offered everything we needed. The extra bedroom was not really a bedroom, it was actually two beds that folded down from the wall into the foyer section of the apartment. It did offer some privacy, but not enough as this was also the area to get out of the room.
Check out was adverage, the hotel tried to charge us twice for the parking and we had to show them the EFTPOS invoice to prove it had already been paid, other than this, it was a good place to stay.
