Bavarian Bier Cafe

I don't like hotels, so this is the closest thing that is also a pleasant environment. The views and atmosphere are relaxing and laid back. I also like the ladies cherry bier very refreshing, i'll be back for dinner.

Great staff and food was good quality. Unfortunately they had a refrigeration problem and were unable to serve any tap beer. Add the beer and the rating is 5 stars

They have just had an outdoor refurb, so we got to recline back in summery whitewashed chairs and enjoy a beer in the pounding sun. Great location for people watching.

Great location but boy do they charge. Totally not kid friendly, sure they have crayons but when I asked for a small salad to accompany my childs dinner they gave me a salad at full price not explaining the price or charge. They food came out at different intervals and we ended up paying for four adult meals for our two kids so they could eat something balanced. There was a group of us and I must say the service was slow and unfriendly. When I left I complained to the management, they asked me to wait a moment, as they wanted to give me something. I had to wait fifteen minutes and when they came back they gave me a voucher for a bier that had to be used in the next four weeks.

Hopeless.

If you want good Bavarian food go to somewhere else.

Great location on the wharf which is one of only a few places Northside to enjoy a beer near the water with a setting sun. Just a fantastic place all round.



Food is delicious but you do pay for it with mains $25+. All your usual fair of German sausages, schnitzels and saurkraut. If only peckish, get yourself a pretzel all warm and delicious.



Beers, as you would imagine from a German inspired establishment, is extensive with options for those who cannot stand strong beer tastes with fruitier versions available.



Service is excellent with prompt and friendly staff.
