A very, very poor experience. A four week job has now taken seven weeks (we're still going).

Their contractors have damaged our house. I (the client) have identified, and reported on, over 70 defects.

I don't even work in the industry.

They are just a disgusting joke.
They made us pay excess claiming that they had to do a big job after a storm damage which we did, and rather than fixing everything they made more damage than the storm did!
when we tried to make them fix their mess they started making excuses. This has been going on for more than 4 months now and we had to get our own plummers and builders in and payed them.
So not only did we have to pay for fixing our damage, but also paid the excess and yearly insurance.
extremly bad service and very impolite staff.
Do not make our mistake and trust them they will sound so proffessional and helpful at the start untill you sign with them and then they are devils

Absolute joke. We have had to deal with these so called "proffessionals" for over 5 months on a simple claim. We just needed our stove top replaced, the range hood, and shelving replaced, the dishwasher replaced and the walls painted. They have not completed one job without having to return to fix it, on ocassions more than once. Disgustingly dishonest, they fitted a stove top which was unusable because the burners were so close to the splash back and told us there is nothing we can do about it. Luckily our insurance company set them straight and got them to replace the stove top with something usable. The worst part is they damaged our polished floor boards by dragging furniture away from the walls. They organised a time to come check the floors so my fiance took the day off work and they didn't bother even turning up. They deny any wrong doing, and it's impossible that they did it. Inneficient, unreliable, liars.
Their sub-contractors damaged our ceiling and they refuse to rectify it, saying that it was damaged by someone else, when no-one else has been there.
A few simple jobs were required and they have turned it into a multi-week production involving tens of tradies and many more visits than a competent company would have needed. We now have an extremely disgruntled tenant and rightfully so. Sub-contractors arrive late or don't show, then we find out Bay building have cancelled them or re-scheduled them. One tiler comes out to replace a tile in the laundry but he's not booked to replace the tile a metre away in the toilet. One chippie comes out to replace a shelf but another one comes to do the door. Another Landlord not happy. Baybuilding are attempting to rectify my small insurance job for the third time. Appointing subcontractors who do not follow the scope of works, they charge for supervision, but do no such thing, nor do they inspect finished works to determine quality.
They want you to run around and meet and deal with their subcontractors, whilst they sit in their office taking a fee for their efforts.
Then they abuse you on the phone for having the hide to complain.
