We thought we'd hire from here because it was in our suburb of sandy bay. BIG MISTAKE.
Staff were rude and incompetent, and eventually threatening. Equipment didn't work, we were overcharged compared to Coates rates, Don't ever go here I tell ya. They lease you equipment that is not properly tested or maintained, you go to the effort of hiring it, only to return it without being able to complete your job as previously discussed with the staff on duty, then they charge you the full fee, then they threaten debt collectors if you feel you don't want to pay because you hired an insufficient machine. Don't even bother! ... I can suggest Coates hire Mornington. They lease maintained equipment with friendly staff. Cheers guys
We used this company yesterday for a 24 hour period to hire a machine that is supposed to shred small trees to make mulch. This machine was totally ineffective and could not do it and we had to spend ages cutting the small branches off the tree to put into the shredder. We took our car there and the machine could not fit onto our landcruiser. We then had to pay delivery and were charged delivery for an extra time when they came earlier to collect it and not later. They insisted on full payment for 3 delivery runs, and a machine that did not mulch properly. We were totally ripped off, service was crap..do not use them until they check the machine in front of you..
We have still been left with branches of the tree that could not be put into this machine..
