Food is excellent. Service is variable. Last visit it took an hour to get the entrees due to one of chefs not turning up to work - however this wasn't communicated with us - we were just kept waiting. Other times it has been ok. However, as the food is so good, it is worth the wait!
The food here is excellent. The service is generally very good. Although we did visit there recently now that the upstairs part has opened. Be warned because when I booked they put us on the top floor. That in it self was not a problem, but the menu says that because you are dining in the "premium" part of the restaurant there will be a surcharge and the menu prices are slightly higher because of the premium service. When I phoned to book, they did not advise of this and I found it rude that they assume you are willing to pay the premium. The food was just as good downstairs, so I cannot see any difference. My recommendation would be to ask for a table downstairs.
So, so , so good. The food is just sublime. They can do things with tofu that should be illegal. And they have a great understanding of food alergies for a local restaurant. The only draw back is that it does get pretty busy and thus they squeeze you in. But this doesn't effect the efficiency of service or the quality of the food. They can still bang out takeaway in a reasonable time on a Saturday night, which is why their menu is a permanent fixture on my fridge. Book ahead or you'll be sorry.
