Bayfit Leisure Centre

I recently contacted this fitness center, hoping to trial out their swimming pool. They had no issue providing a 1-week trial at the center, the process was relatively easy to setup and service really friendly. They provide a number of service from gym, swimming, physiotherapist, crche service. The center is fairly big with large parking space creating no shortages, and plenty of street parking should that ever be the case. I took my little one there recently and found the swim area great, as there is a small section dedicated for little children and water temperature was just perfect, the only addition that would be great is more parent rooms as there is only one, in particular when there is a day filled with lots of children the wait could be quite lengthy. Apart from that, great center with a number of services that are suitable all in one location.

Rudest management, worst service I have ever had. They make staffs hard sell and be very pushy which made me feel really uncomfortable. Much more expensive than nearby gyms. They make it really hard to get information including the cost of membership. When I enquired about a weeks free trial that was advertised on the website they made me feel like they were doing me a really big favour.

I have had extremely great service at Bayfit. My sales consultant has been excellent-making sure that I book in for all my fitness assessments and free PT sessions. Like all gyms equipment does occasionally breakdown however it is repaired really quickly and they have just announced the purchase of new bikes for the gym. I have just signed my sister up.

This place continues to go downhill and I am currently urging a family member to withdraw her membership.

Staff doesn't seem to care, no one calls you back for anything, membership sales staff treat you like a dollar sign and equipment is constantly broken and unsafe.

The one positive note I can say is that the swim school is now of a very high standard.



Great for a swim and to get the kids into lessons but don't even bother with the gym!
