BDS Services provides mechanical engineering and drafting services for building services in commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. New or refurbishment projects are able to be undertaken.
Fixed fee or hourly rates are available as required to suit the individual projects. Quotes are available on request to suit any project.
Examples of services that can be provided that are not within the standard engineering description include the following:
-Detailed designs with high levels of accurately sized plant and equipment such that the installation contractors need not have additional engineering compensate for a limited design provided by the engineering consultant.
-Design drafting to provide full working drawings from potentially limited design drawings.
-As-built drawings for any sort of building service.
-Fan and pump static calculations in relation to actual conditions so that pumps and fans can be selected at the most efficient operating point on their curves.
-Equipment sizing for site applications such as suitably selected control valves and appropriately selected air diffusers.
-Reports on existing buildings and recommendations and estimations of pricing to upgrade or replace faulty or aging equipment and systems.
-Building services maintenance scheduling inclusive of identification of all relevant plant and the activities to be undertaken at the various regular servicing intervals.
-Building operator training and explanation of the way the systems are meant to operate correctly.
-Acoustic analysis of existing and new installations that take into account the structural and air borne noise sources provided by mechanical plant. This also includes the determination of regeneration points within a system due to constrictions. ...read more
