Beach Almond

Visited on a weekend holiday on the recommendation of family. We requested a table at the front when booking a week in advance but were disappointed to be seated right at the back. Views across the beach in day light and a serene ambiance at night. Some staff were lovely, even finding some glasses for a fellow dinner who forgot hers and was unable to read the menu! Food came out quickly and was very nice. The food is however quite expensive, and whilst very nice, the setup doesn't seem to justify the expense. For example plastic chairs at a restaurant where you can spend $169 on a Mud Crab Seafood Platter! Generally look at paying $30-$40 on a main and $20 on an entree.

Serving staff was snobby and aloof

Paid $45 each for two steaks, and they were cremated on the outside

took 50 mins to serve them, and at no point either during the meal or when paying the bill were we asked if our meal was ok.

I am so sorry that I did pay the bill.

Please do yourself a favour and avoid this place

Over priced - no wonder the place was almost empty

I went there with my Mum for my Birthday on Thursday 21st March 2013 and the Calamari and Chips were cooked to perfection, the fish my Mum had was very tasty and the staff were very kind to us.
