WORST dr clinic in Redcliffe. Unless you have hours to sit and wait I do not suggest booking here. I made an appointment for the first one of the day, arrived 10 minutes earlier and still had 5 people go in before me. When I questioned the ladies at reception they were extremely rude and made me wait for ages until they finished their gossiping. When you are feeling unwell sitting in a dr surgery for over an hour is the last thing you want to do. Clearly I was not the only person told I had the first appointment of the day and 5 others were booked in for the same time so what is the point of having appointments, maybe it should be a "walk in"clinic only. I would not even rate it 1 star but had to so I could submit my review.
I agree with everything you have said.
Doctors, receptionists, everyone couldn't care less about the patients in the surgery.
When all patients decide to arrive at once or when one or two patients require longer consultation, or when a doctor is held up on a phone consultation, any appointment system is bound to fail. We however sincerely apologise for any distress caused to this patient.
We like our reception staff to be cheerful and happy, not serious and grumpy. How to find a happy balance between these two approaches is a problem. Obviously there is lot of room for improvement.
this has to be one of the worst medical practices I have ever been to, from the reception staff, who are too busy talking amongst themselves to notice you, to the doctors who couldn't care less. Find another practice.
Distorted perceptions can lead to wrong conclusion. We try to provide the best service possible and try to keep everyone happy. Apparently in this case we failed.
