Beaches & Cream

I've had a couple of lunches recently at this well established caf in an arcade off Inverloch's main shopping street - both were inexpensive and good. Today I had a steak sandwich ($15) served on Turkish bread with chips. The sandwich had a generous amount of well cooked steak plus a good salad and the chips were excellent. The previous time I had a zucchini flan with side salad - also very nice and clearly home made and very fresh. The coffee is always good here and they have a good range of cakes, a big breakfast menu and some blackboard specials to supplement the menu. Just one mild criticism is that the table area could do with a freshen up and perhaps they could replant the now mostly empty planter boxes which look a little grungy. But otherwise this place is good for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea or just for a coffee or other drink.

this cafe is fantastic, lovely arcade courtyard setting that is covered and enclosed but sunlit, the food is delicous, ingredients are of great quality & inventive and prices are very reasonable, staff are very friendly. we had the best moroccan marinated prawns i have ever tasted. ate here 4 days in a row and wil lreturn again next time we are at inverloch.
