Beachport Caravan Park is located on the beachfront overlooking Rivoli Bay - a sheltered bay where the local fishing boats are moored and a lovely place to swim. Across from us is the Beachport Golf Course, so take a short stroll from your accommodation to tee off. A two-minute walk will take you to the centre of town where there are restaurants, bars and shops. Beachport is known to have the second longest jetty in South Australia and is a very popular fishing spot. We have grassed powered sites; some have sea views, four fully self-contained apartments with ocean views, a self-contained cottage, which has recently been renovated, and newly built cabins. Your family pet is welcomed all year round at the manager's discretion. There are group, club and pensioner discounts available. Great location and nice town but caravan park disappointing as there is VERY little shade. All tent sites seem to be in unshaded area, very hot on 40 degree days. Also no picnic tables or shaded areas to eat in. BBQ area old and tired and only has two benches to sit on, again no tables. No shade over kids playground. Park is dog friendly which is good but no poo bags available, luckily can get them at beach nearby. Would not recommend this park unless you are prepared to take gazebos etc for shelter from the sun.
Try one of the 4 apartments right on the beach. They have everything. Great view.
Although apart of the caravan park, these 4 semi-detached apartments are great and seem to stand aloan from the park.
My wife and I have decided this wonderful little town is where we would like to retire to in a few years. It's wonderful.
