Beachside Bakehouse

I've used this charming bakehouse a number of times as an early morning travel break, when either taxiing Melbourne guests to see the nearby Penguin Parade, or when making the long trip between home and Phillip Island for work experience with the Nature Parks. Therefore, I've been able to witness the general reaction of a number of customers to the bakehouse. Situated on the town end closest to the Phillip Island gateway bridge, this bakery is much less conspicuous than many of its competitors in town, in terms of facade, as a growing number of town stores appear to be renovating or being built to modern appearance. The Beachside Bakehouse is however located conveniently on a corner with plenty of accessible parking immediately across the street, where the grassland is a nice enough place to stop and stretch your legs. The store is not huge, but has everything a traveler could want. the fresh produce is exactually that - fresh and the prices are competitive. I get the impression when I shop there it is run by the owners as the service is helpful and friendly
