Having Strata properties which are now managed by Beaumont, I have had a roof leaks that flooded my unit, we are going back to 2013, I have lost rent income as the unit was too dangerous to rent. An expert report was carried out showing the faults with the roof somewhat 100 pages.
I engaged a builder to temporary repair the roof, it would be the same as having a broken window and boarding it up.
I have asked for documents only to find that they are missing or destroyed, my solicitor was also refused doucments as far as the law goes forget it, been to the department of fair trading did not want to know me, legal advice was that a decision by the high court would rule out any chance of compensation.
My dealings with Beaumont Strata I would rate them as a -5
If you want a licence to print money become a Strata company.
