"I have been going to Beauty On Burke for years now so its about time I wrote something! I cant sing enough praise for this place. The owner Olivia has pulled together the most beautiful team of ladies who make every interaction an absolute pleasure. The knowledge of the staff about the services and treatments available is seriously impressive and I can tell you they are perfectionists in their craft! I've had massages, facials, waxing and now am starting IPL there and truly would recommend them for everything that they do. I once got home from holidays with serious skin issues (my face just brokeout in tons of small pimples), over about 4 months I just got used to my face looking like that (even though it seriously affected my confidence in the first place), I remember walking into the salon and Olivia was in shock (my skin had previously been pretty perfect), straight away she recommended a series of facials which she was positive would fix it. I have been a client of Olivia's for over 6 years. Beauty on Burke is the only place I go for waxing and other beauty treatments I now drive all the way over from Brighton to have my waxing and tinting done with BB. Olivia is extremely professional and uses high quality products - I couldn't recommend Beauty on Burke more highly.
I want to warn anyone considering having bio sculptures applied at Beauty on Burke that they are actually not qualified to do them! When I came for my appointment the staff filed down my gel nails and AFTERWARDS told me that staff had not learnt to do the extensions yet. I had also called that morning to check that they do bio sculptures and they had assured me they did. Now I have gel nails that are filed down and look awful and was offered no compensation for this and no apology from management! Absolutely terrible service!
We apologise for this very rare circumstance, however ALL staff are thoroughly trained professionals! A staff member is not allowed to perform a treatment if they have not gained qualification or experience.-strictly You had actually asked for bio-gel refills, which we absolutely do and do WELL! However adding forms to nails are a different area, one which is costly for the client and is an elective whereby extra training is then required. Seeing as though in 10years no one has had or required these types of forms, we do not feel it is necessary to have all the staff trained in this elective. Tips have been the 'to do' service or applying Bio-gel to your natural nail to enhance natural nail growth. You were offered this as an alternative an no charge was made to YOU.
I have come here several times and on my last visit the management just whinged about their employees. I came here to get a treatment, it is so unprofessional to tell a client about matters that aren't really any business of mine. I came here to get a treatment, not hear about your problems. Deal with them in your own time!!!
