Slick Italian job with a focus on pizza perfection, where the Italian host will treat you like old friends on your first visit. Listen to him when he makes a menu suggestion as he knows what he’s talking about. Beccofino spoke to me in the most authentic of ways. The waiters spoke in Italian, the menu was in Italian, the wines were italian. The food was incredible - I had the duck ragu (HIGHLY recommend) and the prawn pizza. Both were to die for. The price was really reasonable as well - two of us ate and had a glass of wine for under $70. Very very impressed by Beccofino - definitely put it on the "to eat" list.
I came to Beccofino's purely because I'd heard it was the best pizza in Brisbane. While the pizza was good, I don't think I could call it the best. The bases were too sloppy, and I've definitely had crispier crusts. Still pretty good pizza, but it just wasn't the best.
