Beechworth Bakery - Healesville

On Saturday 29th April 2023 I went there with Kellie and I had a Beechworth Steak Pie and Kellie had a Caulioccoli Pie. After eating the Pie I had an upset stomach because they put corn flour in the pie pastry but I can't eat corn flour as I am allergic to it. I even asked the lady at the counter and she said it is made with flour only so she lied to my face so I wouldn't trust anything they say.

I went there on Sunday afternoon for Lunch with Elise and I had the same thing to eat and drink and Elise had the Mediterranean Focaccia with a glass of water. We both shared a custard tart for dessert. The staff were kind to us and the service was quick.

I went there yesterday afternoon for Lunch with Ashley and I had a Beechworth Steak Pie with sauce and Ashley had a Beef and Mushroom Pie with sauce as well. We both shared half a custard each for dessert, which was very tasty.

This is a very popular bakery in my hometown of Healesville. The locals go here too which is always a good sign! They have a wide range of tasty savoury and sweet treats and their coffee is quite consistent between visits. The staff are friendly too. Be prepared to line up in to be served if you visit on a weekend... it can get very busy! Overall it's a great place to come as a family.
