The property manager wasn’t knowledgeable of the property they’re handling. I rocked up to my new place only to be told by the body Corp that I had to book the elevator otherwise I couldn’t move, which my property manager missed to inform me. Also I wasn’t told that we can’t move our things from the foyer which made it difficult as the ramp to where we were meant to park the van had a low height threshold so we were asked to carry everything from the ground up to the hilly ramp. This could’ve been all avoided with a simple comminication. I was expecting the property manager would know these basic stuff. They couldn’t tell me either if I have to pay for just usage or water excess. Something basic which they can’t say a straight yes to. I would say they didn’t do a very good job and have little knowledge of the property. Very poor service.
Poorest performance of a property manager I have ever experienced. We have been trying to call the property manager for two weeks and calls were never answered. Reception could also not get a hold of the manager. Once we did get through to the manager (by accident??) and then were told they would get back to us which never happened. They missed handing us papers over to sign off and return and then chased us for those not realising we had never been given the paperwork.
The worst. They did not turn up to open homes, or for trades. They lose keys and cannot be contacted by tenant or owner if there is a problem. they tick everything as working on an exit report without checking. You have to rewrite their ads and supply them with photos. They emailed us about getting handles on a door she could not open, we had to tell her to try pushing it! They hounded us about a railing on a 400mm high deck that was being removed, until we looked up the building codes for them and forwarded the relevant section to them. Even in a well documented market of stagnant and falling rents they recommend increasing rents, they are very forceful about it. They are clueless, vindictive and very rude, in our experience tenants hate them as much as we do.
Absolutely agree, don't turn up, send aggressive messages, don't have keys, don't not call back, don't work Saturday, don't work Monday, have properties rented but don't know it, completely unprofessional IMHO.
