Bel Paese Italian Ristorante

Lovely building and a long standing restaurant . Italian hospitality and flair, all your favourites that you would expect at an Italian restaurant. Service is good and the whole experience is very comfortable. Lamb is particularly good, as is the beef from the Manning Valley ( near Taree, northern NSW).
It's all good. Not open on Saturday or Sunday , I guess this is because North Sydney is very quiet on the weekend,
And not enough people around generally.

Was booked into this restaurant by my client when i was up in North Sydney and i must say the service was fantastic. Waiters were not young aged but more in the older generation making the experience feel like a family owned restaurant where the grandfather or great grandfather was running the operations. Definitely of italian background because i heard them speaking with each other and managed to pick up a few words i knew from studying italian in high school. Other diners were talking loud and laughing which tells me they are having an enjoyable time. I ordered the calamari for entree followed by the pork cutlet. Was delicious both dishes. The only thing that i could point out with my pork cutlet was the thick piece of fat that could have been rendered or just removed because it did look quite unhealthy if i was to eat it but i cut it off and put on the side of my dish. Great place for a business lunch - the garden setting is rare to find in an area as built up as North Sydney. The menu is excellent, the wine list is strong and the service is good.

My man and I were just here last week and we ate breakfast and dinner at this place. The food was always fresh and delicious and the staff (waiters/waitresses) were pleasant and efficient. THis isn't "gourmet" just basic GOOD food for a very decent price! Two thumbs up from me!

We had office Christmas party at this restaurant a few years back. The restaurant is spacy and it's got a nice atmosphere with the indoor-outdoor integration settings. The food is quite nice too.
