I don't know why these people operate this business if there is no love in doing it?
Every time I am awaiting on a parcel I dread that I may have to go and collect it from here and wish I could pick it up from another post office, they're rude nearly every single time!
I'm sorry I handed you a collection card and you just have to walk to the box or wall two steps away and then argue if you can't find it like I've already ...read more
The Belgrave 'postmaster's' advice cost me $305 in a lost mobile being returned for warranty repair in Hong Kong plus $13.75 postage. 'No tracking service outside Australia' he said. 'No point sending it registered mail because it's going to a P.O. Box and there is no one to sign for it.' Then after the phone never arrived and PayPal and ebay would do nothing because I had not used a tracking service he says: 'If you had sent it registered you would have had a sort of a tracking service. If there is no one to sign then a card is put in the box'. At the time I posted it he had rejected all my concerns and requests. I actually had a neutral opinion about the guy, but not anymore. I have discovered too late that many people are unhappy with the service at this post office.
Rude, plain and simple. I unfortunately go there to pick up parcels maybe 4 or 5 times a month and every time it's painful. I'm sorry for inconveniencing them to turn around and hand me a parcel. Why own a business if you give the impression you hate the job and despise customers.
The rudest person runs this post office. I will never go in there for anything other than parcel collection. They could not locate my package and got stroppy in front of me blaming the post man not filling out the card correctly. Wouldn't the most logical thing be to clarify someone's name when you can't locate the parcel. I go out of my way to other post offices when I want to send packages or buy products. It is such a nuisance to get to this post office and then to undergo the unpleasant attitude of the management. Will someone pleasant please take over soon!
