Belle's Hot Chicken

Located in Barangaroo, this outlet has wonderful views of the water and makes for a pleasant open air dining experience. Order at the tiny window on the side (the guy serving was efficient to say the least but not exactly the friendliest), make payment and get a number. I would definitely make sure why you want before you join the queue to avoid holding anyone up as the line can get quite long. Lucky for me not much of a queue today. You'll also need to know what you want to drink as they have a full bar but if you approach the window you won't know what they offer. Not exactly the cheapest take out style food going around but it is filling.

This Melbourne-originating foodie drawcard is designed to lure us down to Barangaroo, and neatly forget any objections to yet another casino. And on appearance alone, the Really Hot Wings ($16.00) served with Fries ($5.00) dusted red with Old Bay seasoning, quietly filling up your Instagram feed, are likely to achieve just that – acceptance by stealth. In the eating however, the plump wings stay blisteringly hot from the crisply sealed coating, and tend to feel a bit slimy inside. The fries are a salt-bath, so I’d suggest taking up Almost Arnold’s Beans ($5.00) or the mayo. heavy Coleslaw ($5.00) as your free side. Mixed Pickles ($5.00) turned yellow by turmeric are useful to cut all the fat, but would benefit from a smidgen of balancing sweetness.

the best chicken in town, i dont recomend the super f hot coz it is pretty spice, for me they have a nice sandwich with chicken is really nice it could easily call chiken burger and the chips sides are masive

Unfortunately this place did not hit the spot for me. The flavours of everything we tried were very bland. The coleslaw didn't have much flavour either and their blue cheese sauce was really watery and again didn't have the nice blue cheese flavour. The staff here are super friendly though, and helped us pick a really nice red wine.

Believe the hype. The chickens are better at belles ??. Drumsticks, veg pickles, carolina slaw, fries, blue cheese and mississippi sauce. Medium and really hot heat level. Medium is fine if you want to enjoy the perfectly cooked succulent chooks drumsticks. Really hot is fun especially with the coleslaw and blue cheese sauce.

About 20min turnaround from order taken to food served, NOT counting Q times, which can be a little annoying as most peeps were still trying to decide what to order at the order counter AFTER queueing for ages. What gives??? Did i mention how good the drumsticks were..?
