A spacious, modern cafe at the entrance of Burwood Westfield, I was really looking forward to trying the food here after seeing so many pretty pictures. Food is undoubtedly beautifully presented, colourful & fun. Taste wise its good and enjoyable but did take quite a while to come out & on the pricier side. Coffee was average, service friendly & overall an enjoyable experience.
The food here is like you’re in Willy Wonka’s Factory, Candyland or a fantasy fit for unicorns. Splashes of colour, lollies and Oreos, you’re in magical place, worlds away from the shopping centre you’re actually at.
Bello the shelter is located at the entrance to Westfield Burwood and is a large cafe with quaint homely style theming and sizeable booths and space for plenty of people to enjoy all day breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. It was super busy when we there, buzzing with excited ...read more
I went to Bello for dinner with my family this week. I had the $26 Bello Pollo, and it was disappointing. Very small portion for the price, the Neapolitan sauce was literally flavourless, as was the chicken, which was completely unseasoned. The whole meal lacked flavour in general. The only saving grace of the entire meal was the potatoes, which were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The others both ordered the bbq chicken salad - light on chicken, a horrible balsamic dressing which was creamy instead of brown, but the rest was good. Wait staff were nice but unattentive and had no idea of the order people should have had their orders taken in. Won't be going back.
$17.50 for 2 chai latte and a slice of cake is a bit on the rich side. They were average in flavour, nice but not amazing, size of cake was good but taste wise it was also 'nice but not amazing'. Disappointed as the menu showed all sorts of nice cakes but a lot of them weren't available including the ones we really wanted. Service was quick and friendly, but all round just an average experience.
Located at the corner of Westfield Burwood's entrance, Bello is a cafe-like restaurant serving the typical Australian style food. Also considers itself as a bar, this restaurant has that slightly bright yellow ambiance which brings out the casual atmosphere out of the place.
My friend and I visited this place one early Saturday evening and it was almost fully occupied, with just a few remaining tables available as we managed to get one that can sit up to four people.
We were there only for a quick snack so we only ordered some drinks and a serving of fries. The fries seem to be prepared to order. They tasted nice and comes with sauce too. The serving size of the fries was appropriately portioned: not too large but good enough.
The food and the drinks came quite quickly and pronto. The price points are also quite reasonable. Also, all the staffs were friendly and prompt throughout.
