Bench Cafe

This is a local hangout spot for many of the locals in Manly. In summer you can sit outside under the shade of huge umbrellas and soak up the atmosphere in the courtyard. In winter there are heaters which take the chill off the night air. The outdoor capacity of the café definitely out numbers the indoor capacity. If it is raining then you and seven other people can be warm and cosy inside. The simple café style fare keeps the locals coming back for more

Absolutely delicious smoked salmon on rye, served with lemon, rocket and capers. I'll be going back soon!!

Bench caf is always busy and I can see why, they have a variety of great fresh food and the breakfast is spectacular.

You might need to wait a little while to get into breakfast or dinner here, but a little milling about in the sun drenched courtyard is always worth the wait. I tried the bircher muesli and it was delicious - I am craving it enough for a soon to be visit again!

A really nice cafe. Extremely reasonable prices, friendly staff, fast service. Most people were in beach attire and there were a few dogs under tables so very laid back but very comfortable and relaxed.
