Over the past few years I have needed both Castlemaine and Bendigo police. In my experience the police have been fantastic, warm and understanding. I've also had kind warm support over the phone, and also at the station whilst in a very distressed state. I have so much gratitude. I do hope Vic police can fight harder for themselves, and the people, in regards to huge crimes due to coerced / mandated shots.
Personally I thought that the arrest of the young woman, who was pregnant as well, on the 02/10/2020, for a Facebook post that Police said was inciting a protest was a sad day for Australia as a country and a sad day for Bendigo Police Force as a whole. Exercising good judgment and common sense in one’s duty apparently is not a part of Police protocol in Bendigo as far as I could see and a wast of Tax payers money. In my opinion some re training is required and it may be time for some officers to move on from the job and retire from the forces if the responsibilities and power of the position can no longer be exercised. Shame
