PRUNING. Having studied arboriculture at Melbourne Uni... Burnley, we understand how trees work, and how best to look after them. There is a rule of 10 to 15% maximum reduction of a trees canopy in one go. Also, how to perform the final pruning cut is most important. Ask us about raising a canopy, or weight reduction.

REMOVAL. Where possible, we can clean fell a tree. In most cases, we climb, and dismantle them bit by bit. If your tree is over the glass roof of your sunroom extension, call us, our 12 years insurance with the same company has never been claimed against ! When a tree is removed to the ground, it's a good idea to poison the stump. We use roundup. it's safe with kid's and pet's.

CHIPPING. Our chipper is very fast and effective. The mulch can be tipped off our truck at your place, or taken away to be sold to someone who wants it (at a very attractive price).

STUMP GRINDING.....is just that, your stump and the surrounding dirt end up all mixed up, and in a neat pile in the hole were your stump was. This material can make great potting mix. Tree roots cover great area, and distance, and in most cases, rot in the ground.

ROOT BARRIERS. Our machine digs a trench to about 1 meter deep. We insert a dimpled plastic sheet (specially made for the purpose), and back fill to a clean finish.

CLEANUP. We like it when our customers are happy with us. It's easy to rake up sticks. A powered blower is easy to use, and leaves everybody smiling.

ELM LEAF BEETLE. Elm trees are beautiful in color and form. These beetles eat shot holes in the leaves. We can treat your tree so that the beetles die when they take a bite. Once every 2 or 3 years will do it. The treatment costs between $200 and $250. ...read more
