After looking for some new turf for my yard, I was recommended by a family member that I should contact Paul and Lynn at Warialder Turf. To say I was pleased with service I was provided would be an understatement. Paul and Lynn went above and beyond any other Turf supplier. After inspecting the areas that needed to be turfed, they suggested the best way to prepare the area so as to establish the turf and give it a solid foundation. This in no way benefited their business as the area had to have under turf soil put down. Also the best species of turf that will not only survive in our yard but thrive!

The turf arrived falling apart, inconsistent depth, most with no roots, plagued with clover weeds and it wasn't cheap either. On arrival we called the owner and said we didn't want it and wouldn't pay. He agreed it wasn't up to standard and said he wouldn't charge us leaving the two already unloaded pallets plus one. Then days later reneged and won't refund our money instead charging us full rate for what was left here. Not happy at all as he didn't keep his word and it was a second rate product. We only managed t salvage a third of it, spent hours trying to lay it and now have an uneven surface full of weed.
Mathew D. phoned to buy turf and I advised him that it wasn't ready for harvesting but added extra turf at no charge. When the client contacted us because he found the root system loose and hard to lay he was told immediately that if he was not happy we would collect the turf and give him a full refund. Instead, he chose to keep three of the five pallets of turf and sent 2 pallets only back. He was given a full refund for the 2 pallets returned.
The three pallets (165 metres) that he retained he was charged trade rate plus given a further 10% discount and also given a 25 kg bag of fertiliser at no charge. The client now wants the 165 metres of turf that he retained to be given to him at no charge. We have offered to visit him to inspect this turf and he has declined. The turf in question was without weeds, infact Tropika blue couch releases its own herbicide to make it difficult for other herbages to grow in it. ...read more
