Bennelong is Sydney's Premier dining experience, in every way. Dining inside the iconic and architecturally acclaimed Sydney Opera House in the World famous harbour with a stunning view of Sydney another icon - the Harbour Bridge. A site of historical significance, for Australia's first people, the Indigenous Australians, more specifically the Gadigal people of the Eora nation, occupied this site. Is there more of an Iconic place then this? Housed in an Iconic building, with views of another Icon with food by an Iconic Australian chef. There is no better place in Sydney to celebrate or indulge then at Bennelong. The space has accents towards various aspects of Australian culture as does the food, highlighting local produce & native ingredients. Dishes are like art & their taste is like music to your ears, appropriate given its Opera House location. Service is sharp yet relaxed. Go for an apperitif or night cap at the bar and learn about drinks from the talented mixologist to round out a great time.

Impossible to fault or negatively critique a menu that perfectly compliments it’s iconic location in the Opera House. The expectations set by the monumental establishment are well thought out and delivered upon.

The set menu of $130 per person offers a great selection of choice and also the bar snacks menu is quite satisfying also having retreated for after meal drinks and appertivo.

The reconfigured Bennelong Restaurant allows diners a more egalitarian way to dine in Sydney’s most beautiful dining room. The surety of a Fixed Price Menu ($130/ 3 courses and sides) combined with the architectural grandeur of the location, have made it a shoo-in for all sorts of celebrations. Watch as the gun door crew cleverly ask each arrival: “And are we celebrating anything this evening?" The accuracy of their cold-reading skills produces more smiles than your average television psychic. At the tables you should expect a produce-orientated menu, starting a Victorian bread where all the ingredients are sourced from the same place paired with a super-creamy, unsalted Tasmanian butter. We came here for our mum's birthday. It was an exquisite meal in a special location. Although it was a bit noisy we enjoyed the setting and atmosphere.

They offer a 3 course menu for $130 which includes complimentary sides for dinner. The plating of the food are like works of art. The flavours were amazing too. Highlights of our meals included the Butter Poached Quail which was melt in the mouth and the macadamia added an interesting taste and texture to the dish.
