We purchased a new caravan from this company at the 2105 caravan show. We were not given instruction on the van as promised, just a quick this si this and that is that and it's all in the book anyway The van arrived with a broken rear light. It was suggested I had broken the light which was not the case. The revere cycle air conditioner was not reverse cycle, They eventually replaced it. While away on a trip, the sliding screen door track broke. We asked for it to be repaired under warranty. Again it was suggested we had broke it which we had not. Before we picked up the van which was having other jobs done on it I asked if the screen door had been fixed as well. I was told 'it's being fixed as wee speak'. The screen door has not been touched and is still broken. I wouldn't buy so much as an ice cream form these guys. Their after sales service doesn't exist
As an addition to my review above, on one of the many phone calls I made to them I was getting somewhat frustrated with them. I did not use any foul language, call anyone any names or manligne the company, but the person on the other end of the line did hang up on me twice. He had no interest in me or in understanding my frustration.
After reading countless negative reviews of car yards in the Springwood area, I was very wary going in to Benstead Car Co. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The sales staff was not pushy, answered all my questions, and I got the car I wanted at a fair price. Overall I was very happy with the service, and the quality car I purchased.
Found the perfect car for my son, colour, condition, km's, very helpful and friendly sales person... So why only 1/2 a star? Well, the car was advertised as a drive away price, but then they added $ roadworthy, $ rego and $ transfer fees !
Couldn't get out fast enough !
