Probably wont go to a dry cleaner who tells me to google stain removal myself after picking up my dry cleaning noticing one prominent stain hadn't been removed. Would've been ok if they mentioned it rather than for me to find out myself and when I ask why it was missed, well apparently they won't try unless a declaration is signed. Didnt ask a thousand questions when I dropped it off to highlighted both stains to be removed.
Luckily doing it myself has made it easily so much better!
So don't believe their stain removal expertise, "google it" as they told me to. And go to the other drycleaners.
Do you really think anyone would go to this much effort over $22? When I happily paid for the other two jackets? I think not. The cotton is a high quality, as is the manufacturing - I did not hand-make this jacket myself. It is YOUR responsibility to tell me if you can't take the jacket due to the lack of care labels that I had cut off for comfort. If you didn't know how to wash it - DON'T. Considering it had been worn only the few times, saying it was an 'extremely dirty garment' is clearly a method to shift blame. You should be able to tell the difference between the print and 'dirt', considering you are a dry cleaner. A lab fee of $200 certainly won't be where I'm going, Consumer Affairs will. Thanks, but no thanks.
You clearly told both of the staff there that the jacket is hand-made. You also demanded $300 compensation claiming the colour has faded, didn't you? So it's not about the $22. We've carried out the service with due care. We cannot give you even one cent. If you are so sure it's the dry cleaner's responsibility why are you afraid to do the test?
Excellent service, I took my dress with pretty bad stains & I can't believe it when they gave me back my dress .it was as good as new. I think they know what they are doing & advised me the premium service, I was pretty happy with the resultand don't mind the price paid & saved my fav dress.highly recommended.
NO STARS. This place is the WORST - I can't believe what happened. I took 3 jackets, which cost $66 - way over priced, but that wasn't the issue. 2 came back looking totally fine. The third was a completely different colour - they had cleaned it in such way that the colour had literally disappeared from it, almost as if they bleached it! It was almost neon prior to going in, and what I got back is a faded jacket that looks like I have had it 10 years! The jacket is brand new, I'd only worn it perhaps 6 times. The staff in the shop was rude, said the people in the dry cleaners would call me, 3 times I went back saying no one had called me. Today I went in and took a photo of the jacket next to another one exactly the same - so I have proof. The staff in the shop said it was already like that when I dropped it - IMPOSSIBLE! Staff then FINALLY called me afterwards and said they spoke to management and that I had two options, firstly I could make my own inquires (aka. find a lawyer etc) ...read more
You can take the jacket to an independent lab of your choice. If the lab test says the dry cleaners' negligent caused damage to your garment then we take full responsibility. If lab test shows it's not our fault then you need to pay for the test fee. Your jacket is made by yourself which doesn't has care label attached to it. You took it to us for dry cleaning and we have done a wonderful job for an extremely dirty garment. Fabric can fade due to its inferior quality. This is not the dry cleaners' responsibility. We carried out our service with due care. Although most customers are very nice there're people who just don't want to pay for the service.
