Bernasconi's Cafe

I took my mother here for her birthday recently, food was tasty and coffee fantastic, the only thing that ruined
our experience was the service or lack there of unfortunately. Our waitress/ server ( French girl I believe) was busy talking to staff and did not greet us, she seemed unfriendly and disinterested in helping us. We had to ask for water several times and this came plonked on table along with our food order which was wrong. This sadly spoiled the experience of an otherwise classy and pleasant cafe.

The menu is diverse and the food is always fresh and comes in a good portion size.



You can sit out the front, in the cafe or in the back courtyard.



Bernasconi's is always busy but is in a quiet area so waits for a table are never very long.



The service is fine but nothing to write home about.



It's great for breakfast and lunch

I've never eaten here, but the coffee has recently been pretty good.

I also like the little courtyard.

A so, so experience. Used to be better a few years back - maybe there's new management?

Don't go out of your way to eat here.

Bernaconi's isn't as good as what it used to be years back.

I think the coffee is the worst coffee made in Sydney.

The Ricotta & jam toast for Breakfast or the daily fresh muffins are very taseful.

Lunch time salads are good to try but nothing to write home about & the service is okay.

However,they do have some great continental qourment products you can buy off the shelf to take home with you.
