I believe all pets, no matter the shape or size are humans best friends. I am a self confessed animal lover and have decided to turn my passion into a business. I provide quality services including dog walking, pet sitting in your home environment(dogs, cats, birds, fish, chickens, guinea pigs, etc), and perform some small home services such as security checks of the property, mail collection, tending rubbish bins and watering plants and/or gardens. My goal is to provide you with an individual service that can be tailored to your specific needs so that your mind is put to rest when you have to be away from your best friend. Walking your dog provides a number of health benefits including reduced stress, cardiovascular fitness and lowering blood pressure. It can stop obesity in your pet which is associated with a number of medical complaints including osteoarthritis, liver disease and insulin resistance. But most importantly it makes your dog happier and provides exercise which reduces hyperactivity and bad behaviour. Most dogs should be walked once a day though some dogs, particularly very active dogs may require more than one walk.As opposed to boarding kennels, dogs and cats are less stressed and much happier in their own familiar surrounds, for those times when you have to leave them for work, short trips or weekends away. This provides less risk of illness or disease from other animals if you were to place your pet in a boarding kennel. Another benefit of my home visits is that you no longer have to rely on family members or neighbours to feed your animals and it saves you time in running around dropping off and picking up your pets.
