The little country town of Berrima is historic in itself but when you step into the Courthouse Museum you are really taken back. First in operation in 1838 the history and mysteries of crime, murder and hard times are illustrated throughout this little gem. You can wander your way through the exhibits via a self guided tour starting at the theatre and working your way around or spend the night and book yourself into an eerie ghost tour where you are advised to "be prepared for the unexpected". The entry fee into the Museum is reasonable given the fees are used to run and preserve the history of this dynamic place. If you really enjoy your history then take the time to stop by here.
