Berry Country Rooster

My husband and I had lunch there on Sunday and it was very disappointing. His lamb pie was tasteless and the presentation was very rough. My wrap was filled with more tan a cup full of lettuce and the rest f the ingredients looked as though they had been thrown in. It was not toasted as per. the menu, but I do not think that would have improved it. We had lunch there once before. I t was disappointimg too. We will not return

The management of this cafe ignored us for ten minutes as we read the menu, before curtly telling us that they weren't taking any more orders (at 1:30 on a busy Sunday afternoon). When I suggested that they might have let us know sooner, they responded by telling us to "bugger off". When I asked them if I'd heard them correctly they aggressively told me yes, that this was their shop, and that we (two families with three kids and a baby) should get out immediately.

I heartily recommend that everybody follows their rude advice and leaves them to enjoy their cafe alone in miserable peace.

Today while visiting beautiful Berry we stopped here for lunch, what a mistake. My wife & I found a seat in the shade then decided what to order, Ii went inside to place the order and was met by a staff who's greeting was a dry ""Yes"", I placed the order, staff said $37.50. Do yourself a favour and do not eat here. The food was terrible (even the order was wrong) and the service even worse. Our wait staff brought our food out and didn't even speak staff just plonked it down on the table and walked away. Staff untidy and glasses dirty,. Choose somewhere else....
