Tried to buy a car from these jokers only to find they were not registered to sell second hand cars. My advice is to keep away, highly unprofessional

Had the worst experience with these guys a couple weeks back. Was told during my last service that my water bottle was cracked and needed replacing. I booked my car in for the water bottle to be replaced - this was the job. After being told my car is ready to pick up, I was told they could not find the part so instead he hot glued the existing bottle so now it holds water, however the pump mechanism is "broken" so water still wont work. He then asked for $160 for the dodgy job. I told the man he should have called me to ask if glueing the bottle was okay as this was not the job i asked of them to which he responded "thats not the way i work" and began to get aggressive even tried to fight me in the office. His words "ill take you on right now". Absolute scumbags - the boss even backed his dodgy employee up on the phone a few days later when informed of the situation.

Absolutely shocking customer service. Paid almost $400 for a minor service, only to find that I had in fact paid for a "report" of findings of what is wrong with the car. Despite having my car for 4 hours, they neglected to call me to collect it after admitting to only working on it for one hour and did no work to the car, did not check what I had specifically brought it in for and articulated to them upon meeting.. When I asked for the said report, the mechanic rambled off the items for me to write down as I "would not understand his writing"!!?? I asked for the reort to be emailed to me so that I could book the car in again for what needs to be completed... 4 weeks, 2 phone calls, 2 voicemail messages and 3 emails - I still don't have a report!!!!
I then called another mechanic for a comparison quote on what they had actually done, and they were $300 cheaper. ...read more

We have been going to Bertil for close to 15 years, they have helped us out during a couple of tight jams, given us excellent advice and looked after our cars like their own. Their price has been fair and we couldn't be happier.
