About the only cafe in Balmain, wait, make that Sydney, that is open after 3pm on a Sunday. And we are all the luckier for it. You'll find friendly, down to earth service and a good range of food and drinks.

Very popular cafe on darling Street serving great coffee and yummy cakes. Freindly staff, fast service and a good selection of tasty pasta dishes that are well worth trying!

Walk past Bertoni at almost any time of day and you will see a crowd of people out the front waiting for a coffee or sitting on milk crates having a drink. The coffee is the best in Balmain and worth sampling. A great cafe

The salads here are so good it may make you vegetarian! I seriously don't know of better salads anywhere. But I also enjoy the rich pastas. Also has good atmosphere.
