After living in bertram for 6 months. I thought id give it a shot. To start with after placing my order totaling $53 (special fried rice, mongolian beef, satay chicken & vegetable omelette) the person picking up the order was charged for mine $5 extra for which they were reimbursed with prawn crackers. The 10-15 minute wait was more like half an hour I was the only person in there. The food was less than pleasing. The beef was very fatty, the omlette seemed a little undercooked but with charring on the outside. The satay chicken? Was tasteless, cauliflower and chicken bits floating in a pink liquid, no satay flavour to it. Fried rice was ok, not the best but its pretty hard to stuff that up isnt it? The service was pleasant but far from professional.
No complimentary prawn crackers either.. that was a first for me too.
