DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! they arrived 4 hours late, without a phone call, apology or explanation. when i finally got a hold of them, the removalist told me that they had not been given the address by the dispatcher. the removalists could not understand english, so when i told them to put a piece of furniture in the lounge room, it ended up in a bedroom, so as a result you had to follow them everywhere and point at where you wanted things put down! they walked extremely slowly too and from the truck, which is infuriating when you are paying by the hour... they had no proper trolleys, so as a result, dropped my bookcase off the only flimsy trolley they had, breaking my bookcase and damaging my floor boards in the process(needless to say, no compensation will be forthcoming). they claimed my furniture was too heavy, so i (a female) and my brother, who has a back injury had to carry the heaviest items. they left after 1 hour without finishing the job by half, ...read more
Broke a $900-00 piece of glass (dining table top), and did not complete the job. Refuse to enter into any compensation discussion by putting the phone down in my ear.
They state they are insured.
Do yourselve a favour, and get another removalist you can communicate with. This outfit is not worth it. I should have known by just the unprofessional way they answered their phone.
