Biba Hairdressing

This is the worst customer experience the worst professionalism and it’s a shame that the biba brand to me now is not consistent. To be rude to people is unacceptable. This is matter has been taken further to the Biba brand higher than the salon and They can justify all they like.

I then went into another Biba which is comical . Speaking to other hairdressers these people couldnt believe they didn’t know what to do. They don't put enough colour or highlights in, a handful of babylights at the face and regrowth with cut costs $350+ (my hairdresser out of town does a whole head for that). Throw in a harsh ombre underneath to lighten, no coloir melt, no balayage, they don't cover every strand or do the soft colour transitions which is what my hair needs, I've noticed every clients hair colour technique looks the same, what are they teaching them at the academy? I was WAS blonde, now after over a year of going there I'm dark unflattering grown out looking dishwater with brassy tips and grey looking babylights, I'm looking for a new colourist. That being said the cuts have always been good and so have the products, but there is zero creative input when it comes to colour and the minimalist approach has left me with a pricey regrowth debt on waist length hair that is so drab I may as well go dark, it's going to cost me a fortune to go blonde again, I'll effectively be doing it from scratch. ...read more

I went to biba moonee ponds the other day I asked for a cut to follow the shape I had already I asked for no layers just a straight cut.. I came out with an uneven haircut and chunks that were clippered out of the back of my hair.... I was very unhappy when I got home and my sis told me chunks were cut out.... I will never return to biba moonee ponds and I will not be recommending this salon to anyone... I work in the beauty industry and it doesn't hurt to LISTEN to what your clients want

I attended Biba Moonee Ponds in Feb 13 for a style and 'up do' and I too won't be going back.

I was charged a ridiculously high price for a blow wave and iron and the hairdresser failed to remove the frizz from my hair, let alone produce what I would call a style.

The hairdresser's attitude was apathetic to say the least, the only time she showed any interest in what she was doing was when I went to the cash register to pay, which was about $30 more than when I was quoted when I booked the appointment.

When I rang back to complain the manager wouldn't even return my call.

I recommend that you avoid this salon at all costs!

I went to Biba Moonee Ponds in Dec 2012 for a colour and I can say that I won't be going back.

I went there to colour my re-growth and first they made the colour too light, so I had a blonde top part of my head, then to correct the mistake and to tone the colour down they made my whole head dark brown!... I pretty much have black hair now! when initially went there to get my light brown regrowth done.

I am very disappointed and would not recommend their colouring services to anyone.
