Biber Diner

Biber Diner has been a Merrylands institution for a decade, though the current owners have only been operating it for about three years. It’s the place to go late into the night when you’re craving a halal snack pack, available as a Chicken Snack Pack Combo ($15) with a drink, made using their beautiful breast-meat kebab. I liked their Turkish pizza. The dough is hand-stretched while you wait, and topped - if you order Kiymali ($18/family size) - with a mix of seasoned lamb mince, tomatoes, parsley and onions. The resulting lahmajun (meat with dough) is light, soft and fragrant. A generous squeeze of lemon is all it needs to be a perfectly satisfying, mouth-pleasing meal.
