Good range of bikes and decent prices. Have dealt with them not realizing they are located nearby. Highly recommend the BOA Shimano Claris road bike as an inexpensive way to get into cycling. It's identical to the Crane 700 which sold at Aldi previously and has internal cabling, a carbon fork and decent enough gear for a cheap commuter bike. I've been using one for 1000km and love it.

I'll be upgrading to something from Polygon Bikes later this year as more of a weekend bike, relegating my current bikes to rainy weather duties.

I recently bought two bikes from these guys and must admit I was really nervous buying a bike online having not seen it or touched and not being a bike expert, but they were much cheaper when I compared on specs. I called twice and asked every silly question possible. I got Jake on the phone and he was really great, he reassured me that I could return them if I wasn't 100% happy after trying it - which made me feel comfortable with buying them. I bought the girls townie bike with the basket, and also one of the kids bikes as a gift for my niece..



The bikes arrived on time, and while it took me a few minutes to work out the finishing touches (eg putting on the wheel 8/) I LOVE my bike!!!



For me it was a great experience.

My husband and I have bought lots of things from bicycles online and have found it to be great service and, most importantly, excellent value for money. We got an electric bike from them, which I absolutely love. I use it every day to get to the station and can't imagine why more people don't invest in one for short trip transport! We had no idea what to buy as far as e bikes go and James from bikes online looked after everything for us.



My husband buys heaps of stuff from here for his road bike and the delivery is prompt and the service great.



I don't normally bother reviewing business found these guys so nice and helpful I had to share

As of 09/05/2013 I have been told I would be issued a refund.



My experience was still a bad one but in the end (after a while) I was given a satisfactory resolution.

I had a very bad experience with this company. My bike arrived with scratches and faulty gears, after requesting a refund within the 14 day trial I was giving a date for collection of the bike. The bike was not collected on this date and this had to be rescheduled 4 times before the bike was collected. Once they received the bike back I was accused of scratching the bike. Very poor service.

Hi Carla, as senior management here at Bicycles Online I have reviewed your case. I feel we are responsible for the delay in picking up the bike for the return, and I apologise that you had to wait with it. We have since changed our shipping provider, and now offer time specific pick ups.



In regards to the gears issue, it does seem odd as. Upon receiving the return, there are no problems with the gears at all. Very occasionally we do get issues in transit, and when we do we offer to have the bike checked free of charge with a local bike shop, as we offered you.



Regardless, I am sorry you had a bad experience. We do have our very liberal free returns shipping and full refund policy, for those that are unsure about the purchase (we do ask that you return the bike clean, and packaged safely for transit). We were only too happy to fulfill this promise with you.
