This place is always busy and a must stop overs for everyone traveling through.
There is always someone at the front of the banana to click your pics. The staff are friendly in the gift shop and will give suggestions of what else to do when in Coffs.
We parked and ate a packed lunch and enjoyed the facilities here. Some enjoyed the toboggan with laughter and squeals. It is definitely a family friendly stopovers. There is plenty of parking for all vehicle types.
I have not been here since a kid and wa so excited. We only visited the banana of course for our photo and I was impressed to see they had a ledge in which to put your phone for self timer photos. We had a bite to eat and I was impressed they had more than the simple selection of kids meals and one being nachos, which was made in minutes and delicious. The staff were very friendly also.
This is always a busy spot for families road tripping along the Pacific Highway.
A great spot for just a cuppa, a banana split and a rest, or you can make a day of it with water slides, toboggans, a gift store, plant nursery and candy shopping.
Parking can be tricky at busy times.
We stopped in just for a short break and to stretch our legs on a road trip and enjoyed freshly squeezed juices for a pick-me-up.
There was lines of people waiting for family pics in front of The Big Banana, so off-peak season may be better for those after a more relaxing visit.
As the name suggests this place truly is all about bananas. A firm favourite with the family for a stopover on our way to QLD, basically a banana themed theme park the kiddies and young at heart will be grinning from ear to ear. If you are interested in learning about the banana plantation and the ins and outs of the park then best to tag along on the World of Bananas theatre experience. If rides are more your thing there is plenty to entertain all with laser tag, tobogganing, ice skating, a water park for those hot days and even rides for the real little ones. The attractions are not that expensive but still best to get a combo pass if there are a few of you.
