I have been a customer since forever and it's a shame not to be able to say a kind word after so long.
My biggest issue is with the service and lack lustre food that runs a close second on the disappointment scale.
If you read other reviews they will mirror the unsatisfactory experience I have been subjected to more than once or twice.
To think of the damage that can be done, when staff destroy what was once a great place to eat with consistently good food and service you could have set your watch to.

Literally just went to big johns, and I've decided to look past all the reviews because I used to always go with my family- the food was alright however after tonight I will definitely never go again. When we walked in (2 people) we were taken to the furthest corner right next to the toilets legit if one of us were to lean back or move our chair back we would've fell down the stairs to the toilets. So we ask if we could be seated somewhere else and then the manager came out with a very aggressive tone saying "I'm not gonna put 2 people on a 4 seater", I totally understand her justification but the way her attitude was was soooo appalling, and then in the end we just left it and decided to shrug the bad attitude off. Keep in mind- our table was so small and cramped that we had to balance our plates of food half off the table. I used to go all the time and put up with the horrible service and frequent mistakes in my orders but tonight i decided after all these years they might have changed. I was wrong, It got worse! I was served by the management to pick up my order and was met with utter rudeness. I Asked for extra cesear dressing went home put on all the sauce, had a bite to find they gave me tartar sauce instead. I called to let them know and they answered with not my problem you didn't get charged for the extra sauce. Absolutely disgusting, i will never go back.
Bad service with food to match we should have turned around when we heard how disrespectfully the management spoke to the staff . The grilled seafood plate was boiled not grilled and the management didnt want to hear a word. Why would you pay that much to leave a place hungry and unsatisfied! Will never go back there!
So rude! Worst customer service I've ever encountered.
Wouldn't recommend the place to anyone.
You also can't pay with your card unless it's $50 or over. And they conveniently have an atm set up inside the shop.
I'd never walked out of a restaurant for being treated poorly until tonight.
