this is the worst Big W for customer service, the personnal often at the exchange desk on workdays is often very abrupt and refuses to exchange/return any items she considers underwear (saying that it is Big W policy) and this includes socks, bathers, dress singlets, etc. This includes if they have the following original all still attached-hygenic tags, sizing stickers, sale tags, original packaging as well as never been opened or tried on. They refuse to elaborate or explain anything. you go to another nearby store such as waverley gardens and they exchange/reutrrn without question the very same items in a friendly manner. i find it very hard to believe forst hill chase shopping centre Big W has their own separate returns policy than aother stores. I have also come home with security tags still attached to items I have purchased only to have to go back and get them removed- with no apology or even a friendliness and even after i have deliberately gone through ...read more
the use of plastic cards for exchange vouchers is such a waste of plastic that will go to landfill, so enviromentally irresponsible when there is the technology to to electronic ones with PIN no.s that can be printed onto paper or put on yuor phone device. large compnay like this should be doing better
big w are definately trying to loose customerrs as far as i am concerned, bought 2 pair of same ladies bathers in different sizes, as did not have time to try on and returned one of the sizes a week later, tags attached with hygienic sticker still adhered to bottoms and a pair of mens boxers also tags attached and neither obviously worn, brand new, apparently their new policy is to not return or exchange underwear or bathers. in past will not offer exchange on unwanted gifts you have received from this store either as they may as also be available at other similar department stores. very frustrating. will start to shop alot less here
