What a great park!
We just spent a week at the BIG4 in St Helens and it really was a great place to stay.
They had new managers Tim & Vicky who had only just started when we got there and they were so friendly, always stopping for a chat when we bumped into them.
There was a young man named Jarrod in reception when we arrived who had a wealth of local knowledge, we had only booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 8 as there was so much to do in the area.
The cleanest amenities I have seen which is a real credit to the park, also the best Camp Kitchen I have ever seen.
We will absolutely be back to see how the family of native hens have grown.

In spite of explaining that the third car's occupants are a mother with two small children, they were forced to park outside and walk up to the site - and that is the highest place in the camp. They also make you pay for all children from two years up. The unpowered sites are only $2 less expensive than the powered ones but not only are they unpowered, there are also no taps. Only one ablution block serve the whole camp and there is also only one small camp kitchen for the whole camp with two barbecues and ...read more
