Bigland & Cowley Optometrists

I made an appointment just before Christmas and had my eyes checked for macular, glaucoma and vision as I do every 2 years. I did not have to wait and my eyeglasses, using my favourite frames were ready within a week. Wonderful Staff, great service and that is why I keep going back.

As we have just moved to the blue mountains we needed to find a local optometrist. I had the misfortune of selecting Bigland and Crowley.
There was a $79 charge for the consultation, I have had my eyes checked every couple of yrs since I was 16 and there has never been a charge.
When I asked the woman at reception why there was a charge she explained that's just how it was.
I then had an average consultation but was told I had to come back in 4 weeks for the rest of the tests, again I have never had a half test before and explained I worked in the city and it was very hard for me to come back. I was advised they were too busy today
