Bill & Toni Italian Restaurant
This cheerful Italian is something of a Sydney institution, with it's central location and welcoming atmosphere it can get very busy.
Don't expect gourmet cuisine but rather generous portions of Italian basics like spaghetti bolognese and lasagne.
Perfect for students and anyone else who wants good quality, tasty grub that doesn't cost the earth.

Always cheerful and i live the vibe of his neighbourhood in Sydney's inner east. It's been here for ages and I get the impression it will be here for a long time to come, it still has the family-run feel to it. Simple uncomplicated food and superb coffee and gelato at decent prices, warm smiles...what more could you want. I went with some young family members, they were made to feel very welcome. Thanks again.
You know that feeling where you're hungry but the thought of food makes you nauseous? Where you're not awake but need the triple shot long black to wake you up but need something in your tummy? Dont be fooled by the unfinished banana bread. But the end game of a good night in the shot below speaks for itself. Thanks B&T
I'm a little confused at all these positive reviews below.
The cafe is ok for a coffee (definitely not the best), and a sandwich, but i wouldn't trust anything coming out of this place as its rather dirty. Just have a sweet with you coffee.
The restaurant is probably the worst food I've eaten in Sydney, the only good points were the random free cordial - which is kind cool and the quick service. It was packed, and spaghetti bolognese, chicken parmigiana were only just edible.
I know this is a Sydney institution but I'd keep away.
