Bill's Outboards And More

Very disappointed.
You guys sell me an outboard with issues and then treat me like c*ap because I complain about it. I understand why you wanted cash instead of card.
I am also wondering why you hide all negative reviews on your google business reviews page, rather dishonest isn't it?
Yes its possible for a third party to hide google reviews for a small fee!
You will still see your review if you are logged in to google but if you log out your review is gone, even if you are logged in with a different google account it will not show.
Not just my review but all other negative reviews are conveniently hidden?
People have a right to know about another customers experiences with you and having their review removed is just dishonest.
Google have confirmed that they did not remove or hide my review and it should be visible so let them sort it out.

Avoid this mob at all costs. I had my 80 hp 4 stroke "serviced" a while ago. Not happy Jan. Cost me over $600 for a minor service on a 2 year old motor. The 1 year major service cost just over $500 at authorised service agent prior to my move to the Hunter. The boat was there all day but “not ready yet” when I rang at 3:30 but ” will be ready in ½ an hour”. When I collected it the pod was covered in spilt oil, obviously they were in a big hurry. No happy but after I queried the bill and got attitude paid, cut my losses and left never to return. Welcome to the Hunter mate I thought, but its gets better - I took the boat to sea a couple of days later and the speedo didn't work. They did not reconnect the speedo tube so I did some more checking. Two of the leg bolts were barely finger tight and I had just been out to sea - shame if the leg came off at sea because of shoddy work. Unfortunately my experiences with Marks Outboards/Bills Outboards was absolutely appalling "after they received my money".
After speaking with Bill, the kids and I drove to Kurri Kurri to look at some of his used outboards. We ended up picking a 2006 Mercury 75 hp 2 stroke for $5000 fitted, ready to go if I paid in cash.
We dropped the boat off, a few days later we went to collect it.
Upon collecting the boat I didn't think to ask them to start it for me, I didn't think i'd need too.

I spoke to them about some parts and they seemed very helpful so I drove two and a half hours each way and when I arrived they told me the parts were not available. After one hour of searching the shelves they manage to find some parts but i still paid the full price quoted over the phone and received half the parts with the promise I will get the balance of goods by Tue... I waited over a week while calling everyday and spoke to their management who wasted my time and messed me about no endwith empty promises. I ended up buying the parts elsewhere (no refund) and would advise against buying any parts from this tin shed operation that is to unorganised to even return your call let alone supply what they promise. Sadly this review is tarnished by the management who can barely manage more than a few grunts on the phone.

I have found Bills outboards to be courteous helpfull and knowledgable on both product ,competitive price and customer service. I cannot offer any more praise but to say they treated me like family. They do what they say they will do and are very good on the customer service and their prices.They want to genuinly look after you and make you happy to keep coming back...I will....Try them and see for yourself. They want to make sure your boat is all about Fun for the summer and wont rip you off in the process.
