Ordered a DVD player online for pick up at Mt Druitt store (a good 30+ minutes train trip from my home). The lady from the store rang me yesterday to say it was ready to pick up and I must bring the credit card that I paid with. Today I make the trip to Mt Druitt. The store was empty except for staff standing around. The first guy I spoke to asked for my drivers licence and I explained I didn't have one. He rolled his eyes and gave me an odd look and handed me to the girl on the desk. She looked up my order on the computer. No eye contact, no smile, no anything. She then asked for my drivers license and I explained that I had been contacted by one of their staff and told to bring my credit card. The girl disappears and comes back 10 minutes later with another guy. Again, the drivers licence. For the third time I explain a licence is not necessary to buy a DVD player.
